CUPRA KIRO brings Disney and Pixar's new movie "Hoppers" to the track at the upcoming Jeddah E-Prix

CUPRA KIRO has joined forces with Disney and Pixar to bring a custom, one-of-a-kind “Hoppers” livery wrap to the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix. This is CUPRA KIRO’s second team up with The Walt Disney Studios, following their collaboration for the release of Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*” last year.

Disney and Pixar’s all-new animated comedy adventure “Hoppers” introduces Mabel, an animal lover who seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals.

CUPRA KIRO’s collaboration for the film’s release underscores a strong alignment with Formula E’s long-standing commitment to sustainability. With wildlife, biodiversity and adventure at the heart of the film, the team up provides a natural platform to showcase the importance of habitat conservation and clean mobility.

After making motorsport history in 2025 by joining forces with Marvel Studios to promote the release of “Thunderbolts*” – the first of its kind in Formula E – CUPRA KIRO’s collaboration with Disney and Pixar builds upon the team’s collaborative relationship with Walt Disney Studios.

At the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix, and during the second edition of EVO Sessions, CUPRA KIRO will compete with a one-off special edition “Hoppers” livery on the cars of drivers, Dan Ticktum and Pepe Martí, bringing Pixar’s storytelling to life on the Formula E stage.

On-track action for the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix begins on Thursday 12 February, with the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2025/26 FIA Formula E World Championship taking place on 13-14 February. Formula E EVO Sessions will follow on 15 February.

Jon Wilde, Commercial Director, CUPRA KIRO
“Since entering Formula E last season, our ambition at CUPRA KIRO has been to challenge convention by injecting the series into new cultural spaces. Collaborating with Disney and Pixar to promote ‘Hoppers’ is a natural evolution of that journey and our wider relationship with Walt Disney Studios, and is yet another example of how we’re redefining what’s commercially possible in this championship. ‘Hoppers’ delivers a powerful message about the critical importance of biodiversity and teamwork in today’s world – values that sit at the core of Formula E, and our own vision for the future as a team. Working with a storytelling brand as iconic as Pixar allows us to connect with new audiences in a bold and meaningful way, and we’re incredibly excited to bring this collaboration to life in Jeddah.”
