CUPRA KIRO targeting redemption at 2026 Monaco E-Prix
CUPRA KIRO heads to Monaco hoping to settle old scores as the 2025/26 Formula E season reaches its mid-way point
The Monaco E-Prix is the crown jewel of the FIA Formula E World Championship and this weekend, the Principality’s legendary streets will host rounds nine and 10 of the 2025/26 season. With the conclusion of Race 1 on Saturday marking the halfway point of the year, the campaign is edging ever closer to its defining phase, where every point carries weight in the fight through the field.
For CUPRA KIRO, Monaco represents both progress and unfinished business, with the American squad enjoying a breakthrough performance at the circuit in 2025 when Dan Ticktum reached the Qualifying duels in both races before ultimately leaving with a sense that more was within reach.
This year, following encouraging performances in Jeddah, Madrid and Berlin, CUPRA KIRO arrives in Monaco with renewed confidence and clear determination to convert pure potential into raw results, and with plenty of surprises in store, the team is intent on delivering when it matters most.

Hear From The Team
Dan Ticktum, Driver, CUPRA KIRO
“Monaco is the race that every driver wants to win, and I’m really looking forward to this weekend. Last season, Monaco was something of a breakthrough weekend for us, and I’m quietly optimistic that we can be competitive there again. So far this season, luck just hasn’t been on our side at all, and if it hadn’t been for the technical issue, we could have been on the podium in Berlin. I think we’ve prepared well as a team, and I’m feeling good. Now, we just need to get into a rhythm and hopefully score some big results.”
Pepe Martí, Driver, CUPRA KIRO
“I’m very excited to race in Monaco this weekend. Monaco is potentially the most famous racing circuit in the world, and it’s one that I enjoy. I’ve raced at Monaco three times and won here in FIA Formula 3, but with the track being quite narrow, driving a Formula E car in the Principality is going to be a very new but very fun experience, especially with the car being quite small. All in all, Monaco is going to be one of the highlights of this season, and after learning from Berlin, I’m sure we’ll be able to score more points.”
Russell O’Hagan, Team Principal, CUPRA KIRO
“We’re looking forward to racing in Monaco after a frustrating weekend last time out in Berlin, where once again we showed we had all the right ingredients to deliver a strong result, and potentially our first podium of the season. Monaco represented a real turning point for us last season – it was the first weekend where we showed what we are capable of, and we are aiming to pick up where we left off 12 months ago. Both Dan and Pepe have strong pedigree here so its important we stay focused. We minimise mistakes, maximise opportunities, and execute cleanly to deliver a big points haul.”
