CUPRA KIRO returns to Berlin, Germany, this weekend for the seventh and eighth rounds of the 2025/26 FIA Formula E World Championship season as the series returns to the legendary Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit.

A mainstay of the Formula E calendar since the series’ inaugural campaign, Tempelhof has hosted all but one Berlin E-Prix to date, and with a total of 21 races held at the venue, it is one of the most familiar circuits for teams and drivers alike.

Despite its well-known nature, the former airfield continues to present a unique and evolving challenge, with energy management being critical and tyre management playing an equally decisive role.

Arriving in Berlin off the back of consecutive double points finishes in Jeddah and Madrid, CUPRA KIRO enters the weekend with momentum, with Dan Ticktum and Pepe Martí looking to maintain their success in the next phase of the current campaign.

Hear From The Team

Dan Ticktum, Driver, CUPRA KIRO
“Berlin is a very cool place, and although Tempelhof is one of my least favourite circuits on the calendar, it’s a venue and setting that I like a lot. Last season, we showed that we have the potential to be quite strong there over the weekend, and after the good result in Madrid, I’m really hoping to build on our momentum and consistency in Germany by getting some more points on the board.”

Pepe Martí, Driver, CUPRA KIRO
“I’m really excited for Berlin and after quite a long break and coming off the back of another double points finish in Madrid, I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel. With two races taking place, this weekend is shaping up to be quite busy and given Berlin’s unique characteristics, I think it’ll be a constant learning experience. Despite that, I’m hoping that we can come away with some good results in both races.”

Russell O’Hagan, Team Principal, CUPRA KIRO
“I’m looking forward to getting the season back underway after a longer than usual gap following Madrid. After a relatively intense start to the year, we made sure to use the break to consolidate everything we have learnt in the opening phase of the season and to set some revised and ambitious targets. Berlin is the perfect location to start what is effectively the second half of the year, and it’s a track that we know extremely well. Dan especially showed strong pace at Tempelhof last year by starting on the front row, but it will be a new experience for Pepe because, although we understand the circuit well, it’s unique and unlike anything else he’s raced on. Based on the form we’ve shown, we know we’re capable of delivering strong results and we’re getting closer.  After coming tantalisingly close in Madrid, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before we’ll be fighting for a podium again, and with close to 60% of the season still ahead of us there is lots to achieve.”
